Your own Stripe

Sell digital products on your own Stripe account.

Most platforms take the payment, keep a share and pay you later. Thinkspark Sell does the opposite: your buyers pay your Stripe account directly, and we stay out of the money.

The buyer pays you, not us

Checkout runs on your Stripe account through Stripe Connect. The charge, the payout and the card statement are yours. Sell is software that creates the checkout and delivers the file — it never holds your revenue.

Paid out on Stripe's schedule

No platform balance waiting for a payout run. Stripe pays your bank account like any other Stripe payment, and you see every sale in your own Stripe dashboard.

Refunds and disputes stay in your hands

Refund from the Sell dashboard or from Stripe; the buyer's download links and licence keys are revoked automatically. Disputes are handled in Stripe, where you can answer them directly.

Your customers, your data

Buyers belong to your Stripe account. If you ever leave Sell, they leave with you. We never email your buyers for marketing.

0% commission, €19 a month

Sell charges a flat subscription (€19 a month or €149 a year). Stripe charges its own processing fee, the same as on any Stripe payment. Nothing is taken per sale on top.

Questions

What is the difference with a merchant of record like Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy?
A merchant of record is the legal seller: the buyer pays them, they handle sales tax, and they pay you later minus their percentage. With Sell, you are the seller: the buyer pays your Stripe account, you keep the whole price minus Stripe's fee, and you handle VAT yourself (Stripe Tax can calculate it).
Do I need a Stripe account?
Yes. You connect it during onboarding through Stripe's own screens. If you don't have one yet, Stripe creates it in a few minutes.
Who handles VAT?
You do, as the seller of record of your own sales. Below €10,000 a year of cross-border EU sales you can usually apply your home rate; above it, OSS registration applies. Check with your accountant.
